The Institute for Diversity and Empowerment at Annenberg (IDEA)  organized a conversation about Art Activism and Global Solidarity with guests Rushay Booysen and Nora Rahimian on February 21, 2017 at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

Rushay Booysen is a co-founder of Creative X, a South African nonprofit that seeks to facilitate collaboration and connection via photojournalism, music, education, and engagement of the arts. His work can be seen on CNN’s Inside Africa, at Mojo Gallery, as well in the 2016 documentary Word of Honour.
