David Stamper is a senior communications executive with over 25 years of agency and corporate experience in Los Angeles. He has served as director of communications at CaliforniaMart, head of brand communications for Mattel, and worked for small boutique agencies as well as Golin (west coast creative director) and Fleishman-Hillard (general manager, Los Angeles).

Clients he has worked with over the years include major global brands across a wide range of industry sectors: AEG, AT&T, Amazon, Disney, Dole, G’Day USA, The Guggenheim, Lenovo, Levi Strauss, Mattel, Nestle, Paramount, Pixar, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Tourism Australia, Universal and Visa.

Stamper has expertise in many communications disciplines including brand development, national media relations, launches and new product introductions, corporate and product repositioning, celebrity and special events, digital program development, message development and spokesperson training, crisis preparedness and issues management, financial corporate relations, cause-related marketing, trade show support, community relations and employee communications.

Stamper continues to work with a number of freelance clients on a consultancy basis specializing in senior executive coaching and speaker/media training and execution and red carpet event management for The Emmy Awards. He is also president of the board for the Alliance for Healing and Housing which provides the basic necessities of life – food and shelter – to people struggling with poverty, homelessness and HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County.

As an adjunct professor at USC he has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate Public Relations courses in Product and Brand Promotion, Business and Economic Fundamentals, Case Studies and Investor Relations. He received an MA in English from The University of London.
