Tips for Submitting a Competitive Graduate Application

Review the Annenberg graduate application guidelines for the degree program(s) of interest to you before initiating the online USC Graduate Admission Application. You will find critical instructions and information that will enhance your ability to submit a timely and complete graduate application.

Double check your data entry and review all documents before uploading materials to your application. Once you submit your application, you will not be able to revise or update materials or documents.

Paper copies of recommendation letters will not be accepted. You must enter the name and email address for each recommender on your online USC Graduate Admission Application. Your recommender will receive the necessary form and instructions to submit a recommendation on your behalf.

USC alumni must upload unofficial copies of USC transcripts to the online USC Graduate Admission Application. Your application will not be complete with the transcripts and incomplete applications are not reviewed by the faculty admission committees.

If you experience technical difficulties with the online application, please contact USC Graduate Admission at gradadm@usc.edu.

After your submit your online application, you will receive your USC ID number within 24-72 hours. Once you have received your USC ID, complete and send the transcript cover sheet to your previous college(s)/university. Official transcripts must be sent to USC Graduate Admission. Also, request to have your admission test (e.g. GRE, GMAT, TOEFL or  IELTS) results sent to USC (code 4852). There is no departmental code for USC Annenberg.
