On Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. the U.S.-China Institute will be on hand to share its research agenda with Festival of Books visitors.

Journalism professor Joe Saltzman
The Jester & Pharley Phund
Journalism professor Joe Saltzman and Barbara Saltzman will be promoting and selling the award-winning book The Jester Has Lost His Jingle. The Saltzmans will unveil the first printing of the bilingual edition of the book, El Bufón ha Perdido su Gracia. On Saturday at 10 a.m., journalism school associate director Laura Castañeda will be reading it aloud to her daughter Olivia. Children and parents will be able to interact with the Jester and Pharley characters, learn more about the Read-A-Thon program for schools, and get their books signed by Jester's mom and pop!
