The Master of Public Diplomacy is a two-year program requiring 49 graduate units, equivalent to 12 four-unit courses and one one-unit internship. It is designed for students who already have a substantial undergraduate background in social sciences or relevant professional experience in subjects such as communication, public relations, media studies, journalism, political science and international relations.
There is a one year program for students who are diplomacy practitioners and/or mid-career professionals. Please contact Annenberg Admissions for more information and application guidelines.

Please note: USC's GRE and TOEFL code is 4852.
The application deadline for Fall 2010 admission is December 15.
You must submit the online USC Application for Graduate Admission that includes an Annenberg Supplemental Form. Your Statement of Purpose, Resume and Writing Sample will be attached to the Annenberg Supplemental Form.
In addition to the application, you must submit the following:
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official GRE scores sent electronically to USC Graduate Admission
- Official TOEFL scores (international students only) sent electronically to USC Graduate Admission
