The California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowships presents Jenny Price, author and urban ranger, with Robert Garcia, founding director and counsel of The City Project. They will lead a field trip for journalists to the Los Angeles River, a concrete-paved urban waterway that is the focus of an ambitious federal initiative to restore natural habitat and create public recreation sites along its banks.
