Venice Arts Gallery will host a conversation with
USC Annenberg adjunct professor and documentary photographer
Jim Hubbard,
Brett Abbott, associate curator in the department of photographs at The J. Paul Getty Museum, and
Michael Shaw, publisher of BagNews. This program is part of a series of conversations with artists, idea makers, and educators focusing on current issues and ideas in the fields of documentary photography, photojournalism and participant media. These programs augment Venice Arts’ presentation of “Jim Hubbard: Injustice, Power, & Unusual People,” on display through November 30th, and is a joint presentation of Venice Arts and the USC Institute for Photographic Empowerment.
