The
2010 Everett M. Rogers Award for Achievement in Entertainment Education will be awarded to
Dr. Martine Bouman, director of the Center Media & Health in the Netherlands. Bouman will be the sixth recipient of the award and is the first woman to ever receive the award. She will discuss her work as a social scientist, educator, designer of EE campaigns and public policy advocate at a special colloquium. The award is administered by USC’s
Norman Lear Center’s Hollywood, Health & Society project, and named in honor of former Annenberg associate dean and leader in the study of entertainment education.
