Journalism Director’s Forum: Roxana Saberi
Annenberg Room 207, 12 noon
USC Annenberg's School of Journalism and the USC Center on Public Diplomacy are proud to host a discussion with journalist Roxana Saberi. Saberi was working as a freelance journalist in Iran when she was arrested in 2009. She was released 100 days later and is now writing and speaking out about prisoners of conscience in Iran. Her book, Between Two Worlds: My Life and Captivity in Iran, will be available for purchase and signing. The conversation will be moderated by journalism school director Geneva Overholser.  Lunch will be served.
