APDS Conference- Spring 2010: Transnational Advocacy Networks and Public Diplomacy

Join the Association of Public Diplomacy Scholars for their annual conference in discussion of transnational advocacy networks, media, and the role of public diplomacy.  Panel topics include Social Media and Transnational Advocacy Networks, and Hollywood, Human Rights & Transnational Advocacy.  Panels will feature Oscar Morales of the One Million Voices Against FARC movement; Aashika Damodar of Survivors Connect; Ted Braun, director of Darfur Now; and Alex Franklin of Storm Lion, among others. Keynote address by Colin Robertson, Canadian Defense and Foreign Affairs Institute fellow and former Canadian Consul General of Los Angeles.
