
The
2008 James L. Loper Lecture in Public Service Broadcasting honors
Brian Lamb, founder, president and CEO of C-SPAN, the public affairs cable television network. Lamb will deliver the annual lecture, which focuses on the future of public service broadcasting during a period of economic transformation in the media. Lamb was honored last year with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and will offer a unique perspective on public service broadcasting during a very exciting presidential election year. Lunch will be served.
