USC Annenberg Series on Sustainable Innovation Geoffrey Cowan Forum (ASC 207), 4:30 p.m. | |

The ability to innovate and sustain that innovation will be the key to success for individuals and organizations. USC is undertaking a strategic, university-wide commitment to helping students and faculty transform "new ideas into tangible societal impact." From Provost Max Nikias: "Research universities in the 21st century not only will be judged by the quality of their research and the quality of their students, but also by how successful they are in transferring innovation into the marketplace in order to meet societal needs." As part of Dean Wilson's 3 I's initiative, USC Annenberg presents the inaugural event in a yearlong series with leaders in research and practice on sustainable innovation. The discussion will be led by
Dean Ernest J. Wilson III and features
Krisztina "Z" Holly, Vice Provost for Innovation and executive director of the USC Stevens Institute for Innovation, and
Susan Metros, USC's Associate Vice Provost and Deputy Chief Information Officer. Reception follows discussion.
