Join students and faculty for a presentation by René Weber, assistant professor at the department of communication at UCSB. His topic: "Media Entertainment: Fresh Perspectives in Disposition Theory." From Professor Weber: "Issues in this talk range from disposition theory's ability to predict viewer responses to daytime soap-operas, to models of moral judgment and the neural correlates of empathy. It will be demonstrated how theory and methods within cognitive communication sciences provide a new analytical paradigm in functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI)."
