Education Writers Association Conference


The USC Annenberg School for Communication, in partnership with the Education Writers Association and the USC Rossier School of Education, sponsor the conference “Understanding, Using and Questioning Education Research: An Education Statistics, Testing and Research Program for Reporters.”  Rossier Dean Karen Symms Gallagher, among others, will speak to the 20 journalists attending the conference. From Annenberg associate professor Bill Celis: “Understanding and using statistics in this era of high-stakes testing is a critical underpinning for solid education reporting,” Students interested in attending the opening reception or the conference may email Bill Celis at celis@usc.edu.
