USC's Los Angeles Institute for the Humanities, University Libraries, Office of the Provost, the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences in partnership with USC Annenberg present a daylong conference featuring news professionals, humorists, and novelists examining the intersection of fiction and nonfiction at a time when the boundaries between news and entertainment seem increasingly porous. Featured guests include
Geoffrey Cowan, dean, USC Annenberg School for Communication;
Marjorie Miller, foreign editor, Los Angeles Times;
Judy Muller, ABC News correspondent and National Public Radio commentator;
