Los Angeles & the Future of Urban Cultures

USC Annenberg, along with the American Quarterly, the Huntington Library, and the Program in American Studies and Ethnicity, present a two day conference focusing on issues of transnationalism, urban space, citizenship, race and belonging. The keynote address will be delivered by UC Santa Cruz scholar George Lipsitz. Communication professor and American Quarterly editor Marita Sturken organized this conference and will present welcoming remarks. NOTE: There is a registration fee for this conference.
