The Norman Lear Center and the Museum of Television & Radio will be having a panel discussion addressing "Television and the War on Terrorism: The Artistic Community Responds to 9/11" on Wednesday, April 24th from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Museum of Television & Radio (465 N. Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills). Leading personalities from the performing, visual and popular arts will assemble for an in-depth discussion on the artistic community's response during times of war and other national crises. The discussion will address how the voices of individual artists have been affected by the nation's tragedy. Panelists include
Neal Gabler, Senior Fellow, Lear Center;
Irene Hirano, Executive Director/President, Japanese American National Museum, Los Angeles;
Jeremy Strick, Director, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and
Joel Sturnow, Executive Producer, 24.
