Changing Face of Radio Seminar

The Museum of Television & Radio extended an invitation to students, faculty and staff to attend the "Changing Faces of Radio" seminar on Wednesday, October 24th at the Museum located at 465 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. The seminar looked at recent trends and changes in radio -- including ownership consolidation, the rise of Internet radio, and the newly launched satellite radio -- and what effects these changes have had on programming. Panelists included:
Lee Abrams, Chief Programming Officer, SM Satellite Radio;
Corinne Baldassano, Vice President of Content and Promotion LMiV;
Erica Farber, Publisher/CEO, R&R: The Industry's Newspaper; and
Trip Reeb, General Manager, KROQ-FM.
