Taken for a Ride: Lessons Learned from 35 years in Automotive Communications

Steve Harris, GM's Vice President of Communications, delivered USC Annenberg's annual Kenneth Owler Smith lecture. Harris began his exciting career with General Motors in 1967, the year he graduated from USC with a BA in journalism. As an overseer of worldwide communications for the automotive giant Harris provided a look inside the world of public relations at one of the world's largest corporations.
